Induction into the University of Toronto hall of fame and All-Canadian status was just a first step towards his passion to continue playing basketball professionally and internationally. Thirteen years later with a successful basketball career highlighted with the opportunity to represent his native country Canada in several prestigious international events, Robert turned his attention to the administrative side of basketball. Playing abroad, coupled with strong Christian principles, has formulated Robert’s concept of sports and its role in your life as a career: Be Professional both on and off the court….Be Honest in your dealings with other players and other teams…..Be Prepared for any jobs you accept as a player.
As a member of the Canadian National Team, a former player and first overall draft choice of SlamBall, Robert is very aware his spot in the public eye could be used for several worthy causes.
