Amir Smith

Professional Career

Amir Smith, 24, played college basketball for three different Division I programs: Rice (2015-16), Florida Atlantic (2017-18) and Hampton (2019-20). He was a force to be reckoned with during his junior season at FAU, averaging over one block per game and finishing second on the team with 33. After his college career, Smith played overseas in Sweden for Jamtland basketball club and averaged 7.5 PPG and 5 RPG while contributing to their Euro Cup run. Amir Smith is also the son of Joe Smith, the first overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 1995 NBA Draft after being named Naismith Player of the Year at Maryland.
