Victorious Dean
Professional Career
Victorious Dean was a force to be reckoned with as a wide receiver during his football career. As a senior at San Diego’s Lincoln High School, Dean racked up 55 receptions for almost 1500 yards and 21 TDs, including a 329-yard game. These performances earned him Cal Hi All-State and Max Prep Sports All-State honors while also being ranked the 12th-best receiver in the nation by one recruiting service. His momentum didn’t stop after committing to Fresno State, where he finished fifth on the team in receptions during his 2012 redshirt sophomore year with 30, despite playing in only nine games because of a season-ending leg injury. At Fresno State, he caught passes from current New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr and shared a wide receiver room with Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowler Devante Adams. “He’s super talented,” Carr told KSEE-TV in Fresno about playing with Victorious Dean. “He’s super-fast. He can jump and catch the ball, one or two-handed. I can’t wait to see his length and explosiveness on those SlamBall courts.” Dean finished his college career at Portland State, where he hauled in 23 passes for 531 yards and seven TDs in 2013.
