JaeTuan Williams first made his mark on the track as one of the state’s top long jumpers at Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio. He put that leaping ability to work with the semi-pro Lancaster (Ohio) Thunder in the Premier Basketball League, sharing the court with Mob handler Justin Holloway. Williams set the PBL on fire, earning league MVP honors en route to a championship in 2022. He also was named first-team all-league in 2020, 2021 and 2022. JaeTuan Williams had the opportunity to play professionally in Mexico in December 2021, but the league was temporarily shut down due to Covid levels in the country, so he returned to the Thunder, where he had an MVP season. His first name is pronounced Jay-TAWN.
