Keenan Love’s hometown of Kankakee, Ill., is due south of Chicago… 46 miles from a point near the Windy City’s southern outskirt. That number is important to Love, as he walked that distance leading a protest march in June 2020 in support of George Floyd, who was 46 at his death. The walk gained huge attention across social media and mainstream press. For the former football and track standout at Kankakee High School, they were the most important steps he covered. Now Keenan Love is ready to make his mark on the SlamBall court this summer.
