A four-year standout jumper on the Grand Canyon University track and field team, Paxton Henry saved his best work for the WAC Championships his senior year, recording his personal best leaps in the triple jump (15.17 meters) and high jump (1.91 meters). He’ll be putting all that athleticism and his experience as a top area basketball player at Prescott (Ariz.) H.S. to work after a run with the ABA’s Scottsdale Titans last winter got him back in the hoops habit. Henry was recommended to SlamBall by the Slashers’ Tony Crosby II, his former GCU track teammate. Henry earned an engineering degree from GCU.
