Rodney Bond
Professional Career
Rodney “Big Rod” Bond was an intimidated stopper for the Bouncers during the 2003 and 2008 SlamBall seasons. He is currently an IFBB professional bodybuilder, basketball coach and strength/conditioning coach at Granite City High School. He was a multi-sport star during his athletic career. Stemming back from his days at Gateway High School in Missouri, Bond earned national honors for basketball, soccer, and track and field. These honors include SLMCAA All-Conference, City All-District, All-State, and St Louis Post Dispatch Top 10 Scholar Athletes. After graduating from Liberty University, Bond went on to play professional basketball for the St Louis Flight and Stunners of the ABA and the Mazatlan Tiburones in Mexico.
