One of the elite competitors in SlamBall history, James “Champ” Willis set the bar high for winning early in the sport, leading two separate teams to consecutive championships. Champ won titles in Series 1 (Rumble) and Series 2 (Riders), with an additional finals appearance in Series 3 (Rumble). James only competed for championships across his entire career. With a shifty skillset, Willis was able to defeat opponents with his leadership, layered scoring ability, and high SlamBall IQ. During both his stints with the Rumble, he formed a memorable big three with Jelani Janisse and Whitney “Take Flight” White.
